Artistic stucco application process.

Surface preparation; surfaces must be clean, dry and free of frost, damage and all-bond inhibiting materials, including dirt, efflorescence, laitance, form oil and other foreign matter.
Cover all gaps and joints between the exterior sheets with joint mesh.
Install window and base flashings.
Apply air barrier coat to the proposed stucco sections.
Installation of insulation foam, minimum 2" thickness of insulation board recommended.
Rasping EIFS stucco foam before the base coat is applied. It is for the reason that it completely removes unwanted surface contaminants or the whole EPS materials or the expanded polystyrene thing on the foam surface.
Application of Basecoat; Apply basecoat with trowel to an approximate wet thickness of 3mm and embed mesh in the wet basecoat.
Apply finish coat; 100 % acrylic polymers, Finish coat, in either fine, or medium texture in any colour, selected by the customer.

Artistic stone products are applied in a three step process.

The first step is to prepare the substrate surface for re-facing with a vapor barrier.The framed wall behind the brick is covered with special sheathing or insulation or with standard plywood sheathing and building paper
The second step is to apply and embed a cement based scratch coat into the insulation or mesh.
The third step, after curing the scratch coat, is to apply a mortar coat and a color infused finish coat. This finish coat is then scored down to the mortar coat and meticulously hand sculptured, in the style you have chosen, revealing the beautiful stone-texture we have created for your exterior or interior project.

This final coat is then scored down to the mortar coat, in the shape and size you have selected, revealing the amazingly detailed, brick-textured finish we have created for your exterior or interior project.
